Hon. Asenso Boakye Boosts Bantama Palace Renovation with GHC 100,000 Donation

The Bantama Palace, a symbol of rich cultural heritage in the Ashanti Region, is set to get a major facelift, the Member of Parliament for Bantama Constituency, Hon. Asenso Boakye has donated generous to the Newly facelift of the Palace.

Hon. Asenso Boakye donated One Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 100,000 ) to Bantamahene during a visit to the palace, where he lauded Bantamahene, Baffour Owusu Amankwatia VI, for his unwavering support to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and for allocating land to the party for the construction of a constituency office.

Hon. Asenso Boakye expressed his gratitude to Baffour Owusu Amankwatia VI, acknowledging the chief’s pivotal role in fostering development in Bantama. “I thank and appreciate Bantamahene for his support.

I’m ever ready to support Bantama, and this donation is a small gesture of my commitment to seeing our community thrive,” he said.

The MP’s contribution is expected to significantly boost the ongoing renovation works, aimed at transforming the palace into one of the most modern and impressive traditional seats in the country.

Bantamahene Baffour Owusu Amankwatia VI, in his response, welcomed the donation with appreciation, highlighting that the renovation project is part of his vision to position the Bantama Palace as a beacon of tradition and progress.

“My newly renovated palace will be one of the nicest and most modernized in the country,” he said, thanking Hon. Asenso Boakye for his timely support.

The chief emphasized that the collaboration between the palace and the MP’s office would further strengthen development initiatives in Bantama, enhancing the quality of life for residents.
