Amenfi East MP Inspects Abrokyirekrobo Health Facility Ahead of Commissioning

The Member of Parliament for Amenfi East Constituency, Hon. Nicholas Amankwah, has conducted a site inspection of the newly constructed health facility at Abrokyirekrobo as final preparations get underway for its official commissioning.

The inspection, carried out on Wednesday in collaboration with the Municipal Health Directorate of Amenfi East, was aimed at assessing the facility’s readiness to serve the community.

Officials reviewed key areas including infrastructure, equipment, and staffing arrangements to ensure the centre meets operational standards ahead of its opening.

Speaking after the visit, Hon. Amankwah said the project reflects his commitment to improving access to quality healthcare for residents in the constituency.

He noted that the facility would help reduce the distance many people currently travel to access basic medical services.

“The visit formed part of our final preparations ahead of the official commissioning. We are working to ensure that everything is in place so the facility can begin serving the people of Abrokyirekrobo and surrounding communities without delay,” he stated.

The health centre is scheduled to be commissioned in the coming weeks. Once operational, it is expected to provide essential services including outpatient care, maternal and child health, and preventive health interventions.

Local residents and traditional authorities have welcomed the development, describing it as a significant step toward strengthening healthcare delivery in the area.
