Ken Agyepong’s Camp Threatens Phase 2 of Showdown If Primary Election is Rigged

A leading member of Team Ken and brother of Hon. Kennedy Agyepong, Raph Agyepong, has issued a stern warning that a repeat of previous political confrontations could occur if his brother feels cheated in the ongoing presidential primary process.

Speaking with the media, Mr. Agyepong emphasized the importance of fairness, transparency, and respect for the will of delegates, stating that the conduct of the elections so far has been largely commendable.

“The process so far has been good. There has been no intimidation, no fear, and no favoritism, and we expect that same standard to be maintained until the end,” he said. “However, if my brother, Kennedy Agyepong, feels cheated this time, there will definitely be a repeat showdown.”

Mr. Agyepong expressed confidence in Team Ken’s chances, revealing that the campaign team had engaged extensively with delegates and was optimistic about the outcome.

“We have spoken to the delegates, we have listened to them, and we believe they have also taken our message to heart,” he noted. “Based on the feedback we have received, we are confident that Kennedy Agyepong has won this contest.”

He described Hon. Kennedy Agyepong as a candidate with a bold vision, strong grassroots appeal, and the courage to speak frankly on national issues qualities that resonate deeply with party delegates and the broader electorate.

The warning comes as tensions rise ahead of the final outcome of the presidential primary, with observers urging all contenders and their supporters to exercise restraint and allow due process to prevail.
