Toasehene Encourages MCE to be Resolute in Governance


Toasehene, Nana Yim Awere Ababio, along with the Toasehemaa, Nana Amonu Gyamfua Serwaa Bonsu, paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah.

The visit was aimed at fostering a strong working relationship between the traditional leaders and the municipal administration to drive development in the Traditional area.

During the meeting, Nana Yim Awere Ababio emphasized the importance of the Municipal Chief Executive being bold and proactive in his role to help develop Atwima Nwabiagya South.

He assured Hon. Osei Boamah of the traditional leaders’ support and commitment to working together to achieve this goal.

“Developing Atwima Nwabiagya South is my first priority, and I believe that traditional leaders play a vital role in governance,” Nana Yim Awere Ababio said.

In response, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah expressed his gratitude to the Toasehene and Toasehemaa for their support and guidance during his nomination period.

He outlined his vision for the municipal, which includes actively involving traditional leaders in decision-making processes to ensure that development projects are community-driven and meet the needs of the people.

“I am committed to working closely with traditional leaders to identify key areas that require attention and to find solutions that benefit our community,” Hon. Osei Boamah stated.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties agreeing to maintain open lines of communication and to collaborate on initiatives that would improve the lives of residents in Atwima Nwabiagya South.
