The General Overseer of Open Arms Ministry and self-acclaimed “Spiritual President of Ghana” St. Sark, has warned that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) risks facing doom due to its alleged neglect of him.
Addressing a press conference at his church auditorium in South Suntreso, St. Sark claimed that despite his significant contributions to the party’s 2024 general election victory, the NDC leadership has sidelined him.

St. Sark, recalled his tireless efforts and spiritual interventions during the election campaign, stating that no clergyman in Ghana worked harder for the NDC.
He alleged that the party’s leadership no longer consults him on matters relating to national development, instead giving attention to other clergymen he accuses of being part of occult societies.

“It was my effort that led to the humiliating defeat of Bawumia. You are now in power, yet you have neglected the office of the Spiritual President… You have power now, so I don’t matter anymore,” he stated.
St. Sark emphasized that his concerns are not driven by financial interests, saying “I don’t need money from the NDC… What I want is for the party to consult me on major decisions they take; otherwise, doom will befall them.”
The clergyman’s remarks suggest a deep-seated rift between him and the NDC leadership, with potential implications for the party’s future.
