President John Dramani Mahama has received assurances from Kojo Bonsu, Ghana’s choice for ambassador to the Republic of China, that the government’s “RESET AGENDA” will secure additional foreign investments. He will do everything in his ability to fulfil his nomination to represent Ghana in China, according to the former chief executive officer of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA).
He claims he will work with the relevant parties to strengthen our diplomatic relations, promote cultural and educational exchanges, and draw in international investment.
“For the RESET AGENDA, I am looking forward to collaborating with you to strengthen our diplomatic relations, cultural and educational exchanges, and to draw in foreign investments.” He shared.
He conveyed his gratitude to the President for entrusting him with his administration. “Thank you for entrusting me with your government, Mr. President @JDMahama.” Kojo Bonsu said. Along with fourteen other people, Kojo Bonsu was nominated to represent Ghana abroad.
“I am writing to notify you that the President of the Republic has designated the following people as Ambassadors/High Commissioners and Consul-General designates after consulting with the Council of State.” The President’s statement read.
Benjamin A. Quashie, who represents Ghana in the Republic of South Africa; Kojo Bonsu, who represents the People’s Republic of China; Kulsoume Sinare Baffoe, who has been nominated to the Kingdom of Spain; Hammed Rashid Tunde Ali, who represents the United Arab Emirates; and Hon. Captain George Kofi Nfojoh, who represents Ghana in the Togolese Republic, are the new ambassadors/high commissioners and consul-general designates. Theresah Adjei-Mensah will represent Ghana in the Czech Republic; Prof. Kwasi Obiri-Danso will travel to India; Dora Francisca Edu-Buandoh, Ph.D., will travel to Canada; Dr. Margaret Miewien Chebere will travel to Denmark; Labik Joseph Yaani will travel to Equatorial Guinea; and Grace El Mahmoud Marabe will travel to the United Arab Emirates, specifically Dubai; Prof. Ohene Adjei will travel to the Federal Republic of Germany; and Abdul Nasiru-Deen will travel to the Republic of Turkey.
Additionally, President Mahama nominated Dr. Felix Kumah Godwin Anebo to serve the country in the Republic of Senegal and Nii Amasah Namoale to the Federative Republic of Brazil.
