Toasehene Nana Yim Awere Ababio Urges Accountants to Uphold Integrity

The Director of Finance of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Toasehene Nana Yim Awere Ababio, has emphasized the importance of integrity in the accounting profession.

Speaking at the 40th anniversary launch of the Kumasi District Society of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, Nana Yim Awere Ababio stressed that accountants are unique and identifiable wherever they find themselves.

He cautioned accountants against allowing a single mistake to betray the trust placed in them, citing the biblical story of Judas, who was identified as a treasurer but betrayed Jesus Christ.

“A slide mistake you made can betray the trust that our founders have in us,” he warned.
