Ashanti Regional Minister Requests Divine Intervention for Ghana’s Prosperity At Atwea Mountains

The management of the Atwea Mountains, a sacred location for religious pilgrimages, has received a sincere appeal from Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene to pray for Ghana’s development and the welfare of its leaders.

The Minister asked for prayers for President John Dramani Mahama, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, himself, and other regional leaders during his working tour to the mountains.

The Minister’s visit was intended to resolve a conflict between the Sekyere Central District Assembly and the Forestry Commission.

Richard Kwasi Afriyie, an evangelist and the Overseer of Atwea Camp 3 Methodist, asked for assistance with infrastructure, such as: lighting for security and safety.

Additionally, he pleaded with the minister to assist in providing them with market facilities so that they might have a suitable place to conduct business and avoid bothering users while they were fasting.

He made another call for portable drinking water to meet the community’s hydration needs and for sanitary restrooms to preserve cleanliness and hygienic conditions.

According to the evangelist, the community prays for the nation’s prosperity every Monday in the hopes that the country will take their well-being into account in return.

The Minister has shown his dedication to fostering the growth of the town by promising to deliver the facilities that have been sought.
