Despite his unrivalled affection for Ghanaian bloggers, actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lilwin, is hurt by the occasional criticism that some of them direct at him.
Speaking to the media in Kumasi on Tuesday, he was quite concerned about why the majority of them only want to say negative things about him rather than positive things.
He stated it annoys him whenever he hears or sees Ghanaian bloggers, particularly u-tubers, disparaging him on their channels because they make so much money from him in relation to his work.
During the press conference, Kwadwo Nkansah recalled the challenges he faced after being in a car accident the previous year, just before the release of his film, “A Country Called Ghana.”
When his automobile struck a private family vehicle carrying a father and his four-year-old child, the child suffered severe head injuries and became unconscious.
Lil Win appealed to the media to support his accomplishments, particularly the international accolades the film (A Country Called Ghana) received, with the same vigour they used to condemn him after his disaster.
“I have given you a lot of money throughout the years.I have received insults from people on your channels, but I have not responded to any of them.
Despite having every right to sue these bloggers, Lilwin respectfully addressed the bloggers who attended the media event.
He claimed to have a great deal of affection for members of the media community and to accord them a great deal of respect whenever he collaborates with them.
To support the aforementioned, he recalled a dinner party he hosted at S-5 in Kumasi with a variety of media, which cost a significant amount of money.
Wezzy Empire’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Okyeame Akwadaa Nyame, Kwadwo Nkansah’s wife, Director Frank Fiifi Ghabin ( Director One ), Director Jackson K. Bentum and a few film industry professionals were in attendance at the media engagement.
