Women’s Development Bank to boost women-led businesses — Bosomtwe DCE Aspirant

NDC’s National Women’s Development Bank plan is expected to revolutionize the business landscape for Ghanaian women entrepreneurs, according to Madam Priscilla Mercy Nketia Akroma, an aspiring district chief executive for the Bosomtwe district.

She reassured the attendees that the program was designed to help women who were having trouble getting capital to expand their enterprises.

Adding that, “The Women’s Development Bank will offer low-interest loans to market women to help them expand their ventures and start-up capital for women-led businesses.”

Capital Access According to Madam Priscila Mercy Nketia Akroma, the program would also make it easier for established female entrepreneurs, particularly those in rural areas and the unorganized sector, to obtain funding.

Additionally, she claimed that giving women access to money would allow them to grow their companies, add more staff, and eventually lower the unemployment rate in the nation.

The Women’s Development Bank’s creation, she continued, “will not only help new businesses but also give existing women-led enterprises the financial resources they need to scale up.”

24-hour economy,She also disclosed that the NDC’s 24-hour economy strategy, which aims to promote productivity in all sectors, heavily relied on the Women’s Development Bank.
