Toasehemaa, Nana Amonu Gyamfua Serwaa Bonsu, has emphasized the importance of investing in education to build a brighter future for the community.

Speaking at a fundraising event at Mpasatia in the Atwima Mponua District to renovate a local school, she stressed that education is key to unlocking potential and shaping the leaders of tomorrow.

“The school represents more than just classrooms – it’s a beacon of hope, a symbol of our commitment to nurturing young minds, and a testament to our collective power to shape the future,” Nana Amonu Gyamfua Serwaa Bonsu said.

She urged stakeholders to work together to create an environment where young leaders can thrive, emphasizing the need to equip them with knowledge, wisdom, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as values that make them proud.

Toasehemaa highlighted her own experience as a Queen Mother, where she has seen firsthand the transformative power of education. She expressed her pride in the community’s efforts to support education and called on others to join in nurturing and supporting future leaders.

Toasehemaa on behalf of Yim Awere Traditional Council donated Fifty ( 50 ) bags of cement and an undisclosed amount of money also donated to the school on behalf of Mpasatia Chief and Queen, together with Sympathizers.

The event aimed to raise funds for the renovation of the school, which is seen as a crucial step in providing quality learning environments for children. The Yim Awere Palace, Toase Traditional Council, and other stakeholders are collaborating to support the initiative.
