In order to comprehend and resolve the underlying reason of the recent shootings in Obuasi, one of its host villages, the former NDC parliamentary candidate for Obuasi West Faustina-Love Kenin said they eagerly await the police and national investigative bureau’s probe reports.

The recent shooting and rioting episode, which tragically resulted in the deaths of nine community members and the injuries of others, prompted Madam Faustina-Love Kanin’s response.

“It is critical that we comprehend the immediate triggers and underlying root causes of the regrettable incident in order to prevent it from happening again.”

According to the corporation, a group of individuals who may have been from nearby towns in Obuasi broke into the mining site.

However, she claimed that unwarranted acts of violence, aggressiveness, and shooting undercut this collaboration and may jeopardize the socioeconomic advancement that mining may provide to host communities.

At the NDC MMDCE’s vetting in Kumasi, she addressed the media.
