SRC Week at Kumasi Senior High Technical School Is Still Exciting

The celebration of 2025 SRC Week has been effectively launched by the Students Representative Council (SRC) of Kumasi Senior High Technical School (KSTS), with the festivities of the third day being a huge success.

Its topic is “Enhancing Student Cohesion through Multiculturalism and Comprehensive Learning.”

The students dressed traditionally and performed a riveting drama that emphasised Ghanaian culture on the third day of the festival, showcasing their rich cultural background.

The language department’s Twi tutors served as the event’s leaders, assisting the pupils in using acting and cultural displays to showcase their gifts from God.

The acting performance and cultural exhibit demonstrated KSTS’ dedication to conserving and advancing Ghanaian culture.

Students were able to express themselves and establish a connection with their cultural heritage via the celebration of SRC Week. Students displayed their originality and talent, and the event was a huge success.

Students can look forward to an interesting and engaging week-long celebration of 2025 SRC Week at KSTS. To encourage student unity, multiculturalism, and all-encompassing education, the program offers a variety of events, including career counselling, debate and quiz contests, and cultural gatherings.

It is anticipated that prominent individuals such as the Headmaster, Mr. Yaw Twimasi, the SRC Patron, Mr. Philip Addai, the SRC President, and the Vice President, Hon. Joel Bafo, will attend the event. A noteworthy occasion, KSTS’s 2025 SRC Week celebration demonstrates the school’s dedication to fostering multiculturalism, student unity, and all-encompassing education.

The kids’ passion and commitment to their cultural heritage are demonstrated by the success of the events on the third day. The remaining activities are listed below.

Day 4 (July 17): “Jama and Jam’s Night” in the evening, followed by a ladies conversation show, sporting events, and a cooking competition in the morning.

Day 5 (July 18th): movie night in the evening, followed by “LG Goes Old School” (Old School, Fashion Show) in the morning.

Day 6 (July 19): Miss KSTS big finale, award and performer night. Day 7: Thanksgiving service on July 20.
