The Royal Adehye Fun Club has expressed disappointment and concern over the deplorable state of roads in the country and has urged President John Dramani Mahama to fulfill his 2024 campaign promise to address the issue.

According to Dominic Boakye, Financial Secretary of the club, the poor condition of the roads has led to a rise in accidents and dust-related health issues, which have claimed lives and affected the well-being of residents.

Speaking to the media, Boakye emphasized that the club is counting on the President to make good on his promise to improve the country’s infrastructure.
“The President made a commitment to address the issue of roads during his campaign, and we expect him to deliver on that promise,” Boakye said.
“The situation is getting worse by the day, and it’s imperative that something is done urgently to save lives and alleviate the suffering of the people.”
The Royal Adehye Fun Club’s call comes amidst growing concerns about the state of Ghana’s infrastructure, with many roads in the country in a state of disrepair.
The club’s Financial Secretary highlighted the need for immediate action to address the issue, citing the risks posed to road users and the impact on the health of communities.
“The dust on the roads is a health hazard, and people are dying because of the poor state of our roads,” Boakye said.
“We are appealing to the President to take immediate action to address this issue and fulfill his campaign promise.”
The club’s appeal has been met with support from residents, who are calling on the government to prioritize road infrastructure development.
The Royal Adehye Fun Club’s call serves as a reminder to politicians to deliver on their promises and address the pressing needs of the Ghanaian people.
