Renowned Ghanaian radio journalist Kwame Adinkra will commemorate his birthday by releasing a new album.

Kwame Adinkra, a well-known Ghanaian broadcaster, singer, and cultural icon, will celebrate his birthday in style by releasing a brand-new tune called “Meto Wo Kropon.”

Just hours before his birthday on December 28, the eagerly awaited song will be accessible on all major digital platforms at midnight on December 27.

Kwame Adinkra is well-known in Ghana’s entertainment business for his soft voice, rich cultural narrative, and love of music.

This latest CD, which represents yet another turning point in his diverse career, is anticipated to appeal to both his devoted fan base and new audiences.

Kwame was excited about the impending song during his Pure FM morning program, calling it a “special gift to my fans and supporters who have been part of my journey.”

On his Facebook page, he provided this explanation of his composition and motive.

I frequently start writing songs in my car, drawing inspiration from world music’s melodies and rhythms.

The trip then continues with my partnership with Mussive Music’s Mr. Collins Agyemang, where the real creative process begins.

We work together to build the original concept, usually with lots of food and laughs. Collins then puts together a group of knowledgeable experts to help with the project.

After the demo is finished, we give it many listens to polish it before submitting it to Bassey House of Music’s boss, Dan Bassey. Collins and Dan work together with a natural connection.

Bassey provides essential comments with his exceptional talent and perceptive ear. Whether it’s mixing or rerecording the vocals, we typically finish the song in his studio.

We might take more time to make sure everything is flawless before release, depending on how complicated the project is.

Meto Wo Kropon was created in a similar manner, but with one special twist: Kofi Ackah finished the final mix in Canada.

We were also overjoyed to include the outstanding skill of worldwide guitarist OT Woods in the production.

The outcome has been absolutely amazing. We sincerely appreciate the contributions from everyone! Meto mo kropon! The deep significance of naming whether it be for a kid or for towns and cities is the idea for this song.

Some kids get their names from their parents, grandparents, or other significant people in the community. In a similar vein, cities and towns frequently have intriguing back stories. One such unusual tale is told by the Asante Kingdom’s spiritual leader Obiri Komfo (Okomfo Anokye).

He planted two saplings in two Asante towns that were well-known, according to historical chronicles. Kumasi was the name of the seedling that flourished, and Kumawu was the name of the one that had trouble growing.

I recreate the idea of naming in this song by imagining that I will one day own a large plot of land on which I will be able to construct a city and give it my beloved’s name.

I will literally name a city after you, so meto wo kropon. The music will be made available on YouTube, Boomplay, Apple Music, Spotify, and all other major platform.

To the current man, happy birthday in advance!Keep up with @kwameadinkragh on social media to receive updates and first looks at the song.
