Otto Addo names 25-man squad for 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Sudan

Otto Addo, the head coach of the Black Stars, has announced his team for the next doubleheader Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Sudan.

Ghana played the Palancras Negras to a goalless draw at Baba Yara Stadium before drawing 1-1 with Niger.

Alexander Djiku and Ernest Nuamah, who missed the qualifiers in September owing to injury, are back in the 25-man team.

Ibrahim Sulemana, an Atalanta midfielder who has returned from an injury, is also joining the team after being absent the last time.

Gideon Mensah, who recently returned to Auxerre after 72 days off, is also part of the team.

The Black Stars are looking to pick up tempo in their qualification campaign after losing their first two matches against Niger and Angola.

Thursday, October 10 at Accra Sports Stadium is the date of the home match versus Sudan, with the return leg set for October 15.
