Miss Olivia Mensah, an aspirant for the Women’s Organizer position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Amenfi East Constituency, has urged the youth and women in the area to take a more active role in strengthening the party’s grassroots structures.
In an interview with the media, Miss Mensah said narrowing the gender gap within the NPP remains critical to building a more inclusive and representative organization.
She stressed that increasing women’s participation in party activities and decision making processes would enhance the NPP’s reach and effectiveness at the constituency level.

“It is time for the youth and women to take charge and help reposition the New Patriotic Party in Amenfi East,” she said.
“We must work harder and stay focused to bring the Elephant back to power in 2028.”
The aspirant called on young people to commit to sustained mobilization efforts ahead of the 2028 general elections, noting that consistent grassroots engagement would be key to restoring the party’s electoral strength in the constituency.
Miss Mensah also highlighted the importance of unity and discipline among party members, stating that a united front was necessary to rebuild trust and expand the party’s base in Wassa Amenfi East.
Her remarks form part of ongoing engagements by NPP aspirants across the country as the party prepares for internal contests and outlines its strategy for the next election cycle.
