The General Overseer of Open Arms Ministry, St. Sark, has issued a stern warning to the NDC government, cautioning against any attempts to downgrade the Suame Interchange project from four lanes to two.

St. Sark, who claims to be the spiritual president of Ghana, made the remarks while addressing Ghanaian leaders on TikTok Live.

St. Sark urged the Minister of Roads Hon. Kwame Governs Agboza to abandon plans to alter the project, emphasizing that projects like this already have it’s fundings for the four-lane interchange.
“Don’t use lack of funds as an excuse; there are numerous ways to mobilize resources and raise funds for this critical project,” he emphasized.

The cleric warned that any attempts to reduce the project’s scope would spark outrage among citizens in the region.
“If they don’t do four lanes and reduce it to two lanes, then the citizens will have to rise up and hold authorities accountable,” St. Sark stated, adding that citizens would “mark the authorities and country leaders boot for boot.”
St. Sark’s intervention comes amid concerns about the government’s intentions regarding the Suame Interchange project, a critical infrastructure development in the Ashanti Region.
The project is seen as vital to easing traffic congestion and promoting economic growth in the region.
The warning highlights the ongoing debate about infrastructure development and resource allocation in Ghana.
Stakeholders are calling for transparency and accountability in the management of public projects, emphasizing the need for the government to prioritize the welfare of citizens.
