Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo is the Chosen One – Bafour Kantankrankyi Declared.

 

 

Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo, the chief of Agric Nzema, has filed the nomination forms to contest his Candidacy in the upcoming Elections for the Representative on the Council of State for the Ashanti Region.


The Electoral Commission’s regional office received it in person from him on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. Distinguished traditional figures, including Hon. Mavis Nkansah Boadu, the Member of Parliament for the Afigya Sekyere East Constituency, and Bafour Kantankrankyi, the Linquist of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, accompanied him.

His papers were approved after meeting all EC standards, and he is currently awaiting the polls, which are set for Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at locations to be decided by the commission.

Speaking to the media, Asantehene linquist Bafour Kantankrankyi explained that they had chosen to support Nana Nkansah Boadu because he was the most qualified candidate to represent Asanteman in the council of state.

“I’m appealing to the assembly members to consider him for the position by voting massively for him. I’m also convinced that when elected, Nana Boadu can deliver for the Ashanti Region,”he noted.

Bafour Kantankrankyi was optimistic that Nana Nkansah Boadu will win the upcoming elections.

86 assembly members from the 43 MMDCES in Ashanti Region will take part in the election.

Earlier on these views were also expressed by Hon. Nana Yaw Wiredu, the Presiding Member of the Asokwa Municipal Assembly and the Assembly Member for Ahinsan Estate.

In order to guarantee that the Ashanti Region has a powerful voice in the Council of State, he urged his fellow assembly members to support Nana Nkansah Boadu.

“We require a representative who can successfully communicate and comprehend the needs of the area. As a visionary leader and ardent supporter of progress, Nana Nkansah Boadu has demonstrated his abilities.

Hon. Wiredu said, “I urge my fellow assembly members to cast a resounding vote for him.”


The Council of State elections are set for Tuesday, February 11, 2025, according to the Electoral Commission. In due time, the precise locations for the elections will be disclosed.
