
Nana Abena Nyarko has been officially installed as the Amangoase Baapanin, marking a new chapter in the community’s development.

The ceremony, held at the Toase Traditional Council, saw her being formally introduced to Toasehene Nana Yim Awere Ababio and Toasehemaa Nana Amonu Gyamfuaa Serwaa Bonsu.

During the ceremony, Toasehene Nana Yim Awere Ababio charged Nana Abena Nyarko to serve the stool with integrity and respect. “Serve the stool in truth and uphold the values of our tradition,” he advised.
Toasehemaa Nana Amonu Gyamfuaa Serwaa Bonsu also urged the new baapanin to be dedicated to her role and work diligently to serve the people and the stool. “Be submissive to the Yim Awere Stool and strive to make a positive impact on your community,” she said.

In her acceptance speech, Nana Abena Nyarko expressed gratitude to the Toasehene and Toasehemaa for the opportunity to serve.
She pledged to work towards the development of Amangoase and make a difference in the Atwima Mponua district. “I want Amangoase to be developed and prosper, and I will do my best to ensure that happens,” she said.
The installation of Nana Abena Nyarko as Amangoase Baapanin is seen as a significant event in the Atwima Mponua district, with many looking forward to her leadership and vision for the community.
