MTN Ghana strengthens its commitment to underserved communities with engagement in Donkorkrom.

As part of its mission to improve customer service and bridge the digital access gap in underprivileged communities, MTN Ghana organised a community engagement event in Donkorkrom, Eastern Region, to educate locals about digital tools and mobile money safety precautions.

In addition to services aimed at making their daily lives easier, the forum concentrated on financial and digital inclusion for rural and isolated populations.

Residents were also given important information on how to stop MoMo fraud at the forum. Members of the community received information on the continuous investments MTN Ghana is making to enhance the dependability and infrastructure of the network in Donkorkrom and the adjacent districts.

MTN Ghana’s Corporate Communications Senior Manager, Georgina Fiagbenu, commented on the engagement, saying, “Our visit to Donkorkrom is a reflection of our commitment to serving all customers, especially those in communities that have been historically underserved.” To raise the calibre of service, we are paying attention, making investments, and acting quickly.

During their active participation in the forum, the community members asked concerns concerning the network, its products and services, and how to recognise and steer clear of MoMo frauds.

The MTN team underlined how crucial client awareness is. In order to facilitate their daily activities and commercial operations, they also introduced the participants to digital tools.

Donkorkrom’s District Chief Executive, Hon. Kate Mawusi, thanked MTN Ghana for helping the district, saying, “I am happy to host MTN Ghana in Donkorkrom today.” Your dedication to your consumers is evident in this visit. We are thrilled to have you visit Donkorkrom.

MTN Ghana was hailed by Nana Akuamoah Boateng, the chief of Donkorkrom, for visiting the community and interacting with its citizens. He remarked that it was the first time a business has acknowledged his community and set up a forum like this to interact and get input on its offerings. Thus, he advised MTN Ghana to keep fortifying its ties with Donkorkrom.

In order to strengthen MTN’s dedication to inclusive service delivery and enhance connectivity in difficult-to-reach places, the community engagement was held in Donkorkrom, a community with expanding digital needs but inadequate infrastructure.

For a number of years, MTN Ghana has arranged community forums throughout Ghana to inform people and get their opinions about its offerings.

These community forums highlight MTN Ghana’s commitment to delivering timely information, enhancing digital literacy, and fostering trust via in-person interactions with its clients.
