His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the president-elect, has promised to follow the blueprint documents created by the Asantehene for the development of the region, according to Dr. Samuel Sarpong, National First Vice Chairman of the NDC.
The president-elect has a copy of the development document and intends to utilize it as a guide, according to the former Ashanti Regional Minister and Kumasi Mayor.
Nonetheless, Dr. Samuel Sarpong expressed to the Asantehene John Mahama’s gratitude.
Additionally, he commended the Asantehene for the advice and direction he provided prior to the elections on December 7.
Following the NDC’s historic electoral victory on Saturday, Dr. Sarpong, speaking through the Asantehene’s linguist, claimed on behalf of the President-Elect that the party’s success was due to Otumfuo’s blessings and leadership. The NDC was appreciative of the Asantehene sharing his insightful counsel with them, and Dr. Sarpong stated that they would make sure to see him frequently for the same.
The NDC Vice Chairperson said, “Otumfuo, I stand here on behalf of the President-Elect to thank you deeply for your guidance and advice to the NDC party. I know that it was the reason we have recorded the biggest political victory in Ghana and we promise to always come around for such to govern Ghana well.”
Dr Sarpong was joined at the Akwasidae event by former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister Andy Okrah, former MCE for Obuasi Kwasi Ofori Agyemang Boadi, and Appiah Stadium, a devoted follower of John Mahama.
The occasion, which signifies the conclusion of the Adae in the Ashanti calendar, was attended by several NDC officials.
Thank you: The linguist expressed gratitude to the NDC Vice Chairperson on behalf of the Otumfuo for honouring the Asantehene.
