Mahama has the experience and vision to reset the economy – Prof Jane Naana

Voting for Mr. John Dramani Mahama in the next general elections on December 7 would allow Ghanaians to prioritize their requirements for development, according to Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) vice presidential candidate.

As Prof. Opoku-Agyemang began her two-day campaign tour of the Eastern Region on Tuesday, she spoke to NDC supporters in Paakro in the Akuapem South Constituency. She accused the current Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government of ignoring the demands of the people for development.

She said that instead of delivering on its hollow promises, the ruling administration had abandoned Ghanaians.

She went on to criticize the government for dropping a number of initiatives started by the previous NDC government.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang gave the voters the assurance that Mr. Mahama’s $10 billion “Big Push” infrastructure agenda will be the primary means of advancing national development during the next NDC administration.

She went on to say that Mr. Mahama has the know-how and vision to turn around the economy, empower women, and provide young people work.

In order to guarantee that development reaches every community, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang asked the audience to elect NDC parliamentary candidates nationwide and to vote for Mr. Mahama as president.

She underlined that the NDC is dedicated to improving Ghanaians’ lives and bringing about meaningful change.
