Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Clinic Re-Opens After Temporary Closure

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) is pleased to announce that its clinic has resumed operations after a temporary closure due to licensing discrepancies. As of Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the KMA Clinic is fully operational and ready to provide quality healthcare services to the people of Kumasi [1].

The KMA Clinic was temporarily closed by the Health Facility Regulatory Authority (HFRA) on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, due to licensing issues. The closure was necessitated by discrepancies in the clinic’s licensing documentation, which have since been resolved.

The KMA management has apologized for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure and has assured the public of its commitment to providing quality and reliable healthcare services to the people of the metropolis. In a statement signed by Henrietta A.K. Aboagye, Public Relations Officer of KMA, the management expressed appreciation for the cooperation and understanding of all stakeholders during the closure.

With the re-opening of the clinic, residents of Kumasi can once again access healthcare services at the facility. The KMA management has reiterated its commitment to delivering quality healthcare services to the community and is dedicated to ensuring that the clinic meets the healthcare needs of the people.

For more information or to access healthcare services at the KMA Clinic, residents can contact the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly or visit their website at www.kma.gov.gh.

The KMA management encourages everyone to take advantage of the clinic’s services and to report any concerns or issues to the relevant authorities.
