Kofi Job Allocates GHs1 Million to Settle Medical Expenses for 213 Patients in Kumasi.

Kofi Job, a prominent Ghanaian road construction contractor and philanthropist, has generously donated GHs1,000,000 to settle the medical expenses of 213 patients in Kumasi. This contribution also included funds for the repair and acquisition of medical equipment.

The initiative was executed through the Kofi Job Foundation, benefiting institutions such as the Kumasi South Hospital, Old Tafo Government Hospital, and Manhyia District Hospital.

On Wednesday, the esteemed philanthropist personally visited the patients and made cash payments directly to the management of each hospital. In addition to those currently hospitalized, he also assisted new patients who approached him for help, providing them with amounts of GHs 3,000 and GHs 2,000 for prescribed medications and other related costs.

At the Kumasi South Hospital, he covered a significant bill of GHs 120,000 for the chemotherapy and surgery of two children diagnosed with renal cancer and Retinoblastoma.

Accompanying him during this visit were his wife, Dr. Esther Gyebi, Archbishop Akwasi Asare Bediako of Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministry, along with other distinguished clergy from the Upper Room Assemblies of God Church.

In addition to his financial contributions, Kofi Job, who is also an Evangelist, joined the clergy in offering prayers for the patients.

He expressed his sorrow upon witnessing their conditions and acknowledged that many were unable to afford their medical bills, stating, “I have realized that the number of deaths in our hospitals is partly due to poverty.”

He expressed his hope that God would continue to bless him, enabling him to provide ongoing support to those in need. He emphasized that the responsibility of aiding the vulnerable should not rest solely on the government, urging both institutions and individuals to contribute whatever resources they can.

Dr. Alimatu Salam, a Pediatric Oncologist at the Kumasi South Hospital, expressed gratitude to Kofi Job for his generous support.
