Elections are won at the Polling Centres, so politicians should be alert – Otumfuo Counsels.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, has emphasized that elections are won at the polling places and urged voters to be vigilant. Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has stated that there is no tense connection between the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Manhyia Palace.

He asserts that the NDC flagbearer John Mahama’s visit will dispel reports of animosity between them.

“The NDC is not on good terms with Manhyia,” the NDC Presidential Candidate said through a linguist during his visit to the Ashanti Region. It isn’t true because he has stated everything.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mahama has refuted claims that he was a part of the attack on the Asantehene convoy in Techiman on Monday.

He called a circulating film a fake, AI-generated video that was an intentional attempt to damage his and the NDC’s reputations.

According to police, the alleged incident took place as the Asantehene was making his way back from a burial at Nkoranza, which is in the Bono East Region.

The police have made contact with local Techiman stakeholders and the Manhyia Palace in an attempt to gather more information and defuse any potential tensions after the incident.

Therefore, police have advised the public to remain calm as investigations continue.
