Don’t trust the phoney Mahama’s appointment list – Bawah Mogtari Warned Ghanaians.

Claims that President-elect John Dramani Mahama appointed ministers before taking office have been denied by his administration.

Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Mr. Mahama’s Special Aide, emphasized in a press release on Monday, December 16, that the reports that are making the rounds on social media are not accurate.

She urged the public to ignore these reports, emphasizing that Mr. Mahama has not made any announcements regarding appointments.

The comment was made in reaction to a list of purported ministerial nominees that went viral on social media.

The office claims that the list is completely made up and has no foundation. Public uncertainty has resulted from the spread of such misleading information, necessitating an official explanation.

Ms. Bawah Mogtari emphasized that formal channels will be used to make any genuine announcements about appointments or other relevant topics.

To prevent being mislead, she counselled the public to only trust correspondence from Mr. Mahama’s office.

The message said, “We implore everyone to ignore the fake news and to avoid disseminating unconfirmed information.”

The public was reassured by the president-elect’s office that it would remain open and professional throughout this transition.

In order to preserve accuracy in public discourse, it further urged citizens to notify the proper authorities of any questionable or unconfirmed information pertaining to Mr. Mahama.
