Speaking at the Foundation’s Maiden edition of Free Health Screening and Donation for Humanity at Abuakwa in the Atwima Nwabiagya South, Mensah highlighted the significant impact women have on the economy.

Mensah stressed that women’s health is crucial for maintaining a sustainable economy, citing the vital role women play in driving economic growth. When women are healthy, they are more productive, contribute to their families and communities, and participate in the workforce, ultimately benefiting the economy.

The CK Mensah Foundation’s initiative aims to empower women by providing them with access to free health screening and medical care. By doing so, the Foundation seeks to promote women’s health and well-being, enabling them to take control of their lives and contribute to the economy.

Research has shown that investing in women’s health can have a significant impact on the economy. A study by McKinsey Global estimates that $28 trillion could be added to the annual global GDP if women participated in the workforce at the same level as men. Moreover, improving women’s health can lead to increased productivity, reduced healthcare costs, and a more stable workforce.

Mensah Adding that, prioritizing women’s health is essential for maintaining a sustainable economy. By taking care of their health, women can contribute more effectively to the economy, support their families, and improve their overall well-being.

The CK Mensah Foundation’s initiative is a step in the right direction, and it is hoped that more organizations will follow suit in promoting women’s health and empowerment.
