The flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, has formally opened a cutting-edge Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) school in Juaben, Ashanti Region.
The newly constructed Otuo Serebour STEM Junior High School, named for a famous Juaben chief, Nana Otuo Serebour II, boasts impressive facilities.
Ten classrooms, a biology lab, a chemistry lab, an ICT lab, a stem lab, an assembly hall, and a dining hall are all features of the school. Twelve more classrooms are being constructed in a block.
Dr. Bawumia emphasized that these innovative institutions are part of the government’s deliberate efforts to improve the country’s educational standards.
At the ceremony on Sunday, Dr. Bawumia addressed a large crowd and asked people to support the NPP government because it is committed to delivering high-quality education. In his next government, he promised to give Ghanaians access to an even better educational system.
Chief of Juaben and Council of State Chairperson Nana Otuo Serebour II praised the NPP government for its dedication to Ghana’s development.
He prayed that Dr. Bawumia would win in the 2024 elections so that the party could continue its excellent work and pointed out the significant developments in Juaben, including the building of roads, schools, and hospitals.
