
Hon. Anthony Kwame Nsiah has been re-elected for a fourth term as Presiding Member of the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly, marking a historic milestone in the district’s governance. The assembly members overwhelmingly endorsed his re-election on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, with all 43 members present voting in his favor.
Hon. Nsiah, an Assistant Headmaster at Afia Kobi Ampem Girls Senior High School and a holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has been at the helm of the assembly since 2019.

His re-election is a testament to his excellent leadership skills, rich experience, and contribution to the district’s development.
The re-elected Presiding Member expressed his gratitude to the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah, and the Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Kofi Amankwa-Manu, for their continuous support and guidance.
He also thanked the assembly members for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to work hard, foster teamwork, and serve with humility, fairness, and accountability.

“I pledge to deepen collaboration with all stakeholders to advance the development agenda of the assembly and propel the district to greater heights,” Hon. Nsiah assured.
His re-election has been welcomed by the district, with many looking forward to his continued leadership and vision for the area.
