Association of Rural Banks Gives Back: Donates to Garden City Special School

The Association of Rural Banks, as part of their 10th Rural Banking Week Celebration, has made a generous donation to the Garden  City Special School in Kumasi.

The donation, presented by the President of the Association of Rural Banks Ashanti Chapter, Lawyer Ben Kwakye-Adeefe, includes essential items such as rice, maize, powdered soap, toilet rolls, cooking oil, and a cash donation of GHC2,000, bringing the total value of the donation to GHC9,000.

Lawyer Ben Kwakye-Adeefe emphasized the importance of giving back to the community, stating that it is an essential need for individuals and organizations to contribute to the development of their society.

He expressed the Association’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote education and improve the lives of people with special needs.

The Headmistress of Garden City Special School, Mrs. Roseline Frempomaa Adjepong, received the donation and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Association of Rural Banks for their kindness and generosity.

She appreciated the Association’s recognition of the school’s needs and their willingness to support the students and staff.

The donation is expected to go a long way in supporting the school’s feeding program and providing essential items for the students.
