Ashanti Regional Minister visited Kejetia Market and the Kumasi Central Market Phase II Project for a work visit.

Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene has made a day-long working visit to the Kumasi Central Market Phase II project to check on the status of the construction in an effort to ensure that it is completed as quickly as possible.

Together with RCC members, the regional minister inspects the project and gives the contractor instructions to expedite construction so that it is finished quickly and relieves the strain on the streets.

Dr. Frank Amoakohene persisted in his criticism of the market’s unsanitary conditions, and he gave management instructions to support long-standing initiatives to address the issue.

In an effort to guarantee appropriate facility management, the Minister also gave the regional police commander instructions to evacuate a truck terminal located directly in front of the Kejetia Market’s main gate in order to guarantee necessary security measures.

Dr. Frank Amoakohene firmly declared that he will continue to engage in dialogue with market participants, traders, and transportation providers to guarantee that appropriate management techniques are implemented in order to preserve the city’s aesthetic appeal.
