Along with Goosie Tanoh and other important positions, Mahama appoints Julius Debrah as Chief of Staff.

Important nominations to the Office of the President, which will begin on Today Tuesday, January 7, 2025, have been announced by President-elect John Dramani Mahama.

Julius Debrah, the newly appointed Chief of Staff, is at the top of the list.

Debrah had held the same position in Mahama’s previous government. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, a Mahama aide, confirmed the selections in a statement released on January 6 and stressed their strategic significance in advancing the goals of the next administration.

The full list of appointees includes:

1. Dr. Callistus Mahama – Executive Secretary to the President.

2. Prosper Douglas Bani – Head of Interim Security Taskforce.

3. Dr. Valerie Sawyerr – Senior Presidential Advisor, Governmental Affairs.

4. Augustus Goosie Tanoh – Presidential Advisor, Responsible for 24-hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development.

5. Marietta Agyeiwaa Brew – Legal Counsel to the President.

6. Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu – Acting Spokesperson to the President.
