“All fake news on social media comes from the Jubilee House” – Mahama

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has accused the Jubilee House of orchestrating a fake news operation on social media to discredit him and his political activities.

At a mini-rally in the Asene Manso Akroso constituency of the Eastern Region, Mahama asserted that the seat of government has become a focal point for misinformation thrown at him and others.

His remarks came after Akyem Akroso Chief Nana Kwabena Ofori denied rumours that he had recently visited and supported NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

He advised Ghanaians to be cautious and verify information twice as the 2024 elections approach to prevent falling for deceptive tactics.

As Nana spoke, he advised reporters to exercise caution and avoid misinterpreting him.

It’s the Jubilee House, Nana, not the reporters. People are misunderstood there. When something you haven’t said is reported as something you have, it’s known as fake news. It’s not the right thing to do, but they have done it to many individuals, including you and me.

Therefore, the Jubilee House is the source of all false information on social media, Mahama continued.
