The Parliamentary Candidate for Oforikrom Constituency on the ticket of the ruling party,NPP, Hon. Michael Kwasi Aidoo had today, 28th October 2024 Presents sawing machines, hair-dryers, Plumbing and electrical kits, and other equipment to over 200 teeming youth in the constituency.
The initiative, according to Hon. Aiddo, is borne out of the factor that, the prime objective is to provide jobs for the people of Oforikrom and through this core i tervention, he has been able to collaborate with Ghana Enterprise and Master Card to train over 200 youth into the world of self-employment.
Hon. Aidoo hinted that the over 200 beneficiaries will also employ other youth that he further increases the number of youth in the job sector in the constituency.
Speaking to the media after presenting the items to beneficiaries, he estimated that, even though they have done with the training and shall be going out to exhibit their skills, Master Card has assured all beneficiaries of the outfit readiness to continue providing saftey guidelines and monitoring in order to protect and safeguard their businesses growth.
According to the incoming Member of Parliament for the constituency, government can not meet all the demands of everyone. Hence, its a duty mandate as PC to contribute his quota towards empowering the youth in their respective field of profession. And this has triggered him to execute the initiative.
He urged the beneficiaries to make sure they take a good maintenance of the logistics so as to give hope for others in the constituency.
