Esther Amoh Blankson, a 20-year-old hairdresser apprentice, is battling severe injuries after her father, Nana Amoh, brutally flogged her with electrical cable at Twifo Praso in the Twifo Attimkrkwa of the Central Region.
On October 12, 2024, Esther returned home from work at 1 am to find her father had locked her out.
After demanding the keys, the father, Nana Amoh refused, suspecting she had visited her boyfriend hence returning home late from work.
Esther waited until 3 am before breaking the door to gain entry.
According to the victim in an interview with the media ,the father did not only walked her out of the room when he met her in the room but also subjected her to severe beatings.
The next morning, Esther discovered her phone and Gh¢370 cash missing from her bag. Her father admitted taking the items and demanded she replace the broken padlock before returning them.
An argument ensued, and the father assaulted the victim with an electrical cable, inflicting severe wounds.
In an interview with media, Nana Amoh, the suspect father confessed to the assault but alleged Esther had insulted him in front of his workers.
Esther is currently struggling to sleep due to her injuries.
