Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly Takes Steps to Enhance Education with Donation to J.A. Kufuor STEM Technical School

In a significant boost to the educational infrastructure of the J.A. Kufuor STEM Technical School in Darbaa, the District Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly, Hon. Mba A. Zechariah, has presented 20 marker boards to the institution.

This thoughtful donation is poised to revolutionize the teaching and learning experience for the over 1,000 students and teachers at the school.

During the presentation ceremony, Hon. Mba A. Zechariah reiterated his administration’s commitment to prioritizing education, emphasizing the imperative of creating an environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.

“Education is a top priority during my term of office, and we are dedicated to ensuring that our teachers have the necessary tools to deliver quality education,” he affirmed.

The District Chief Executive specifically highlighted the need to eradicate the practice of teachers writing on walls, underscoring the importance of leveraging modern educational resources.

Hon. Mba A. Zechariah also unveiled plans to upgrade the school’s football pitch to modern standards, recognizing the significance of holistic development and extracurricular activities in fostering well-rounded individuals.

Furthermore, he acknowledged the pressing issue of inadequate furniture and assured stakeholders that efforts are underway to address this challenge, thereby enhancing the overall learning environment.

The Headmaster of the J.A. Kufuor STEM Technical School, Mr. Takyi Cosmas, expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Mba A. Zechariah for his unwavering support and vision for educational excellence.

Mr. Takyi also lauded the collaborative efforts of the Member of Parliament, Hon. Frank Yeboah, in safeguarding the interests of the school.

Notwithstanding the positive developments, Mr. Takyi shed light on the pressing challenges confronting the school, notably the stalled construction of the school building and the acute shortage of furniture.

“The incomplete construction of the school building has been a longstanding concern, and coupled with the furniture deficit, it poses a significant impediment to our mission to provide quality education,” Mr. Takyi lamented.

He made a heartfelt appeal to benevolent individuals and organizations to come to the aid of the school, underscoring the transformative impact of collective efforts in shaping the future of the students.

The donation of marker boards to the J.A.
