
The Administrator of the Ashanti Chapter of the Association of Rural Banks Dr. Anthony Darboh, has appealed to customers to play their part in sustaining the operations of rural banks in the region.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Darboh emphasized that the banks have been serving the people of Ghana with diligence and integrity, and it is essential for customers to support these efforts.

Dr. Darboh specifically called on customers to increase their savings and for loan defaulters to settle their outstanding debts. “As part of our efforts to sustain the banks, we urge our customers to increase their savings and for those who have taken loans to please make timely repayments,” he said.

He noted that the cooperation of customers is crucial for the continued success and growth of rural banks in the Ashanti Region.
