A terrible occurrence happened in the Ashanti Region at Fawoade, where a 40-year-old man died in a gas explosion.
The explosion reportedly occurred when a carbide cylinder the deceased was handling in a shop abruptly exploded.
According to Hon. Joseph Addo, the Assembly Member for the Area, the victim’s skull was totally severed in the explosion, as reported by the media .
The police have taken control of the area and are looking into the situation. In order to conduct an autopsy, the body has been transported to the hospital.
On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the incident took place, leaving shock and sadness in its wake.
