A horrible occurrence involving the alleged ritual killing of a five-year-old girl on the evening of Monday, May 12, 2025, has rocked the Aflao village in the Ketu South Municipality.
The young girl reportedly vanished shortly after her mother left the house for a short time, leaving her and a younger sibling napping. When the mother returned with the child missing, a desperate search was launched.
The girl’s bloody clothes were discovered on the compound of a man known as Ahiable Yao David, a fan milk vendor and well-known choir member at the local church, following a search that resulted in a terrifying discovery.
Police were alerted right away, and a thorough investigation was started. According to reports, when investigators searched the suspect’s room, they found a hidden pot under his bed that contained human body parts thought to be those of the missing child.
