Toase SHS receives 100 bags of cement from MP Shirley Kyei for the reconstruction of the burned teachers’ bungalow.

In order to help Toase Senior High School rebuild a teachers’ house that was recently destroyed by fire, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Kyei, the Member of Parliament for the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency, has donated 100 bags of cement.

The donation, which was given during a short but important ceremony on the school grounds, demonstrates the MP’s dedication to enhancing education and guaranteeing the well-being of educators in her district.

Hon. Kyei underlined the significance of establishing a supportive atmosphere for instruction and learning, pointing out that the well-being of teachers is essential to academic achievement.

She also counselled Toase SHS students to stay focused on their studies and to avoid the temptation to partake in other social vices, such as drug misuse.

“The most effective instrument you have for influencing your future is education. “Remain focused, maintain discipline, and follow your dreams,” she said.

The Headmaster, Mr. Joseph Britwum, accepted the donation on behalf of the school and conveyed his sincere appreciation to the MP for her prompt action. He claimed that the donation would boost teacher morale and retention and that it was an essential step in restoring accommodations for educators.

Mr. Britwum also took use of the opportunity to urge other interested parties to help the school’s infrastructure development, including the association of former students, religious institutions, business associations, and benefactors. He said, “Although we are grateful for Hon. Kyei’s kind assistance, we still have a long way to go in resolving the school’s infrastructure issues.”

Attendees included community leaders, teachers, some students, and representatives of the school’s administration, who praised the MP for her continuous support of education in the district.

It is anticipated that work on rebuilding the teachers’ bungalow will shortly start, with the goal of finishing it in time to give the impacted instructors reasonable housing.
