Under strange circumstances, a guy in his 60s had his genitalia amputated in Kwesimintsim, a community in the Western Region’s Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipality. Samuel Sam, the victim who just missed death, works and resides in Tarkwa.
According to reports, the event happened during the Easter vacations when he went to spend time with his girlfriend, Stella, who lives in a family home in Kwesimintsim Zongo.
The incident was reported to the media, by Eric Acolatse, the assembly member.
He clarified that after turning off their electricity, the couple chose to enjoy the fresh air in the compound of the property.
Reports state that Mr. Sam and Stella made the decision to sleep outside in the compound at 10:30 p.m. that night in order to take in the fresh air. Mr. Sam went back to sleep in the bedroom a few minutes later, and Stella did the same soon after. Stella stepped into what she first believed to be a drop of water as she entered the room. She saw a horrifying scene as she turned on the lights, which were off. Mr. Sam, her lover, was lying in a pool of blood, naked, with a bread knife next to him. He pointed to his severed testicles and penis.
The sufferer received treatment at the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital right away. The Assembly Member claims that Mr. Sam is now responding to his treatment. His penis was totally amputated, and doctors have confirmed that portion of his testicles were also removed.
The woman stated during questioning that two unnamed men had attacked her in the bedroom. He claimed that while the men held him down, they mutilated him with a knife. Stella was first taken into custody by the police to be questioned, but she was later released on bail, Mr. Acolatse continued.
The suspects may be related to Stella’s previous relationships, according to community rumours. These might include a boyfriend from her past or present, or even a jealous “sugar daddy” with whom she may have cut ties because of her relationship with Mr. Sam.
