Afenyo-Markin Promotes Youth Support that Goes Beyond Party Affiliation.

The Parliament’s Minority Leader,Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin has said that support for Ghanaian youngsters should extend beyond their party colours.

“When we empower local businesses, we don’t just boost productivity. we create opportunities and open doors to jobs,” he spoke at the Kwahu South District’s second edition of the 2025 Kwahu Business Forum, emphasizing the value of doing so.

Depoliticizing entrepreneurship is crucial, according to the Member of Parliament for Effutu, who argued that political players shouldn’t restrict it or perceive it through a political prism.

Regardless of their political affinities, he called for support for entrepreneurs, emphasizing the significance of closing the gap between financial availability and entrepreneurial potential.

Entrepreneurs should make significant investments in their dreams, he added. President John Dramani Mahama, prominent government appointees, important industrial players, and entrepreneurs attended the forum.

With the theme “The Future of Business: The Role of the Financial Sector,” it was held. The purpose of the event was to bring together private sector participants and financial institutions to talk about ways to create a resilient business environment in Ghana, as well as policy initiatives and investment opportunities.
