Kumasi Faces a Mini Beer Shortage

Numerous revellers in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti region, have voiced concerns over the lack of micro beer in the city during the holiday season.

In places known for their exciting nightlife, such as Krofrom, Bantama, Adum, Maxima, Asafo, and Kwadaso, the shortage was particularly acute.

Several operators said that they had not received mini club beer in the region for a few months. Since their shelves have remained empty for some time, the situation has left many of these pubs and bars upset.

During the season’s festivities, irritated guests have also been left rushing to drink.

Despite this, a number of sources claim that the demand for club beer this year seemed unusually high.

Pleasure-seekers typically increase their alcohol usage during holiday seasons. Barley malt, maize, hops, and water are the ingredients used to make Mini Club beer, often known as Club beer.
