Mahama will speak to the country following his formal announcement – Bawah Joyce

John Dramani Mahama, who is presumed to have won the 2024 presidential election, would give a national speech after being formally declared the victor of the 2024 general elections, according to Joyce Bawah Mogtari, his spokesperson.

The address will be held at his office, according to a press release. The news was made on Sunday, December 8. Bawah Mogtari said the speech will provide Mahama a chance to explain his vision for the country and the next steps his administration intends to pursue. The president-elect plans to use this platform to foster unity and support group efforts for the advancement of the country, she emphasized.

She added that Mahama will be able to thank Ghanaians for giving him the opportunity to lead the nation once more in the upcoming speech. It is expected to mark the start of a new era focused on growth and healing in Ghana’s democratic history.
